Cat Ba is the largest island in the Bay and approximately half of its area is covered by a National Park, which is home to the highly endangered Cat Ba langur. This golden-headed langur is rarely seen, as fewer than 100 specimens are thought to survive in the wild, although it is the subject of a well-organised conservation programme.The Park covers both land and marine areas and has a high biodiversity, although it is at risk from too rapid an increase in tourism. Other mammals in the Park include civet cats and oriental giant squirrels.
Outside of Cat Ba town is a beautiful island with much to explore.
Day 1: Ha Noi – Cat Ba
07:45- 8:30 : Pick-up at hotel and start the trip of 3.5 hours to Halong Bay with a 20 minute- short break on half way.
12:30- 13:00: Embark on Fantasea Cruise after check-in procedure at the pier and enjoy welcome drink.
13:00- 14:00: Lunch be served while cruising among wonderful limestone islands…
Drop off for a guided tour of Thien Cung – the cave famous for its stalagmites & stalactites. A short way further to visit the newly discovered Dau Go grotto (wooden stake cave).
16:30- 17.00: Keep on sailing to Gia Luan pier, where you will be transferred by mini bus to Cat Ba town. Arriving at 6:00pm for check in Cat Ba Fantasea Hotel.
Day 2: Cat Ba – Ha Noi
7:00- 8:00: Check out room, breakfast.
8:00- 9:00: Bus back to Gia Luan pier.
9:00-12:00: Boat trip back to Halong pier, admire the other side of Halong picturesquare beauty.
Lunch will be served on the boat on the way back to Halong harbor.
12:30-16:30: Return to Halong harbor for Hanoi with a short break on the way,be dropped off at your hotel in the Old Quarte
